Our Lovely Edinburgh Festival Camping Site....

A place to relax...

After a frantic day of Festival frenzy it will be a delight to retreat back to your campsite for what will be much needed down time. Why not end your day relaxing with a nice cold beer or a wee dram? Or chill out by our little beach....

Great community atmosphere...

"It’s been lovely. Very nice staff and just enough of everything that matters in hospitality, thank you for being welcoming,” said Edinburgh Fringe Visitor and Camper Anna

You'll be well looked after...

"The campsite is superbly friendly, clean and relaxing, great facilities, clean hot showers. The breakfast tent serves great bacon sandwiches and coffee, overall one of the best campsites I’ve been too. Thanks for a great experience." - John and Family, Leicester during Edinburgh 2015.

Bring what you want to make yourself comfortable...

Bring your gazebos, bring your pup tents, bring your large tents, bring your small tents, put an awning on, create a group cooking area, bring the kitchen sink (we've seen it all). We don't charge any extra for you making yourself at home - we might even pop in for a cuppa!

We like to keep it local, and give a little back

We strive for as much local community involvement as possible. We recruit and use local staff and suppliers to ensure it is the local community which benefits as much as possible… as well as this we run Project Re-camp where we work with local Scout and Guide groups and donate unwanted kit and tents. In 2015 we collected unwanted and leftover kit to A Syrian Refugee Charity Group.

We're Super Family Friendly...

We make sure that it's a great place to stay for families - we have a family camping zone with lots of green space for running around and games (it's also away from the noisier general areas), we have sports and games sets for anyone to borrow and play with and we have family friendly entertainment.... to name but a few things!

"The whole set up was fantastic and people were great at looking after us - happily recommend and do again." - Jane and Family, Kent.

Geoff Vaughan

Operations and Ideas

Geoff is Operations guru and knows everything about site planning, h & s, and logistics. He loves to muck in on site and you may also find him in the camp kitchen cooking a signature dish! He is also full of new ideas and constantly finding ways to improve what we do. Geoff also has 2 young sons which keep him busy when he's not planning campsites!

Rhian Evans

All the Technical Stuff

Web, bookings etc (anything techy really) is mostly what she does. Rhian can also be found getting involved in day-to-day activities on site including managing the pre-pitched ``hotel``. When not doing that she's running around after her twin toddlers and can't wait to bring them to Edinburgh after having such a great time in Glasgow.

Katie Heirene

Marketing Guru

Planning strategy, ever present on social media, banging the drum and letting people know what we do as well as liaising with the Press and other Partners. Katie is also known to be Captain Showerblock on site and loves to make sure everything is ship shape. When Katie's not doing this she can be found playing rugby. Katie's bringing her family to Edinburgh for her new son to experience Campingninja for the 1st time!

Vicky Martin

Site Manager, Customer Service + so much more!

Vicky can do EVERYTHING! An organiser, a manager, a bit of plumbing. working with sponsors, managing crew, heading up Customer Service and getting her hands dirty with a bit of web stuff - we're still trying to find something she can't do! When not doing all these things, Vicky can be found running Duathlons and running around with her 3 children too - we secretly don't think she sleeps!
