How to get from Edinburgh Festival Camping to the International Book Festival

 

All events at the Edinburgh International Book Festival take place in venues situated in Charlotte Square Gardens, a beautiful Georgian Square just off the west end of Princes Street in the centre of Edinburgh. You can’t miss it. Entry to the Gardens is free.

 

By Bus:

Mon-Sun: 8 AM–11:30 PM · every 10 min

 

EFC to Book Fest

 

 

By Tram: 30 Min

 

You can take Edinburgh’s tramline – direct from Ingliston Park & Ride (if driving from EFC) , or from the Airport stop (if walking from EFC), to  Princes Street , from there it is a short walk to Queens Square. Journey time to Princes Street is approx 30 mins. Trams run from 6.15am heading into the city, with the last tram returning from the city at 11.30pm..

 

Trams Run every 8 – 10 minutes Monday to Saturday & every 12 – 15 minutes on a Sunday.
