Greek Tradegdy Antigone is soon to go on sale

Some of the hottest tickets for this years Festival will go on sale to the public on 29th November for the amazing contemporary version of Antigone, with Celebrated stage and screen actress Juliette Binoche playing Antigone. This version has been translated afresh by T.S. Eliot Prize-winning poet Anne Carson and is directed by one of the world’s most sought after theatre directors – Ivo van Hove who is renowned for the revolutionary nature of his work.
When her dead brother is decreed a traitor, his body left unburied beyond the city walls, Antigone refuses to accept this severe punishment. Defying her uncle who governs, she dares to say ‘No!’
