Edinburgh Arts festival Programme

Edinburgh Arts Festival 2015 programme has been revealed, the programme combines ambitious presentations of Scottish and international contemporary art alongside major solo and survey shows of artists from the 20th century and historic movements.

The programme will  see the first solo exhibition in a UK public gallery by American artist John Chamberlain at Inverleith House and the first large-scale solo show in the UK by Tara Donovan. The Arts festival brings together the capital’s leading galleries, museums and artist-run spaces, alongside new public art commissions by established and emerging artists and an innovative programme of special events.  The programme is unique in combining ambitious presentations of contemporary art alongside major solo and survey shows of artists from the 20th century and historic movements. The commissions programme champions new work by Scottish and international artists. The vast majority of the festival is free to attend.
