Here at Edinburgh Festival Camping we don’t just offer access to the Festivals, we bring it to you via our very own official Fringe venue, Venue 403. the Tipi Bar (venue 403) with quality entertainment every night. Here are just some of the amazing acts we’ll have joining us this year.
1. Hannah Griffiths
With a big guitar and an even bigger voice, Hannah will be an absolute treat for campers looking to enjoy classic hard-moving acoustic music. And there’ll be plenty of chances too. She’ll be staying with us from the 2nd all the way to the 15th.
2. Band of Jays
If you’ve stayed with Edinburgh Festival Camping before, there’s a good chance you’ve seen this band’s magical fusion of poetry and jazz. But no two performances from this trio are ever the same. They’ll be performing 15th – 17th August. For a taster of their tunes visit here.
3. Katie MF
This act is an absolute must-see, with a big punk sound and a killer energy. If you like Frank Turner, Grace Petrie or Dave Hause, you’ll love this exciting up-and-comer. Katie MF’s music can be heard here, and she will be performing for one night only on the 16th.
A post-pop burst of synths and great sunglasses, this electronic trio promise a fun night of big bops and addictive hooks. There are echoes of acts like The 1975 and Carly Rae Jepson here, but these influences have been honed to make a sound that is well and truly their own. Catch the Zkeletonz on the 21st. Check out their tunes in advance here.
5. Ragman’s Rumble
Rolling in near the end of the festival, Ragman’s Rumble have a set featuring a host of classic rockabilly tunes, complete with harmonicas, tambourines and the kind of bluesy soul that goes down well on a summer Edinburgh evening. Check them out on the 22nd.
